  On Catechetical Sunday, we recognize our Parish School of Religion (PSR) teachers who volunteer their talents and time to teach our youth God's Word and His principles.
  
  Our catechists fulfill one of the most vital ministries in our Church. They keep the "pulse" of our Church strong by leading our youth -- our future Christian leaders -- in understanding and living our faith teachings on a daily basis.
  
  This year's theme for Catechetical Sunday is "Prayer: The Faith Prayed".
