Bible Study

With the restart of Bible Study this fall, we examine the Book of Psalms. Psalms are prayerful hymns or songs that enable you to surrender yourself to God. They give you a peace that comes from submitting to God's will and submitting your perfect confidence in His omnipresence and omnipotence. The Psalms are a personal communication between you and God about your fears, anger, worries, joy, thanksgiving, humility, reverence and wisdom.

The Bible Study Notes are compliments of Fr. Clark. Use them as a guide or supplement only. Reading your Bible is the best means for learning, understanding and growing your faith and communication with God. Currently, the New American Bible Revised Edition is the preferred Bible read at our Bible Study sessions.

Join your fellow brothers and sisters for Bible Study on Mondays at 7PM in the Parish Ministry Building (Confirmation Room).

Bible Study on December 3, 10 and 17 will examine the readings for each respective Sunday. We will place the readings into context in their book in the Bible, and we will reflect on them in the light of the Advent season and the coming celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Your participation in these Bible Study sessions will help the Sundays of Advent be more meaningful for you because you will be prepared to hear the readings a week in advance.
