 Mass is the highest form of prayer in the Catholic Church. The Mass is a communal prayer, which requires the participation of the community. Although every member of the congregation is already involved in the important role of participating in the Liturgy, below are other roles which are necessary to the celebration of Mass.

 Lector

Lectors: 

Parishioners are invited to serve the community by proclaiming to them the Word of God during the Liturgy of the Word. For more information contact Yvonne Jackson at 778-0920.

 

Eucharistic Minister

Eucharistic Ministers:  

Parishioners are invited to serve the community by bringing them the Body and Blood of Christ during Holy Communion. For more information contact Buelah Decuir at 355-4436. Some Eucharistic ministers are commissioned to bring the Eucharist to the sick at home.  If you are a Eucharistic Minister and would like to bring Communion to the sick, please contact Fr. Clark at 775-7067 or Gene Decuir at 355-4436.  

 

Ushers:  

Serve the community by welcoming our parishioners, making visitors feel at home and helping with various parts of the Mass. For more information about becoming an usher please contact Wilfred Johnson at 658-7888.

 

Altar Servers

Altar Servers:  

Serve the community by assisting the priest with various parts of the Mass. For more information about becoming an altar server, please contact Bradley DeRouen at 218-8292.

 

Beautification Committee:
